How We Create Opportunity
Whether helping players combine education and soccer at leading schools and universities around the world, or giving teams the chance to travel, compete and experience soccer in new countries, we believe soccer can open doors that go far beyond the pitch.

Next 11 was founded by John Paul O'Rourke and Kelly Forrest, combining their experience across soccer, coaching, professional careers and international environments to create a business focused on helping young players achieve their true potential.
Background
Next 11 was founded through JP and Kelly's shared passion for soccer and experience across playing, coaching, player development and international pathways.
They understand that a player's journey is about more than talent alone. Development, education, exposure, opportunity and making the right decisions all play a part.
Next 11 brings these elements together, helping players access opportunities and build a pathway towards their ambitions on and off the pitch.

John Paul O'Rourke
Director of Soccer and Player Pathways
JP brings extensive experience across soccer development, coaching and international player pathways. Over the past five years, he has worked across the UK and US soccer sectors, coaching and developing elite international tours while building a strong network within the professional game.
With a deep understanding of the US college scholarship landscape, JP's focus is on developing players, creating connections and opportunities. Alongside his soccer experience, he brings 25 years of professional project management expertise, supporting the strategic development and growth of Next 11.
Kelly Forrest
Director of Business and Operations
Kelly brings extensive experience from both elite-level soccer and her professional career. During eight years with Aberdeen FC Women, she became the long-standing captain, leading the team through back-to-back title-winning promotions and a return to Scotland's top flight.
Now in coaching, Kelly uses her playing and leadership experience to support the next generation of players. Alongside this, she brings the organisation, strategy and leadership skills developed throughout her professional career, helping build the operational foundations behind Next 11.
